The name wii is derived from ‘we’, and is meant to be liked by one and all. Wii was considered as the plural form, but the company officially stated that the plural would be wii systems and not wii. The tremendous graphics support and the incorporation of multiple games allured not only the kids, but also people from all generations. These games include some popular names like soccer, or basketball. It’s easy to use feature and the various accessory made it appropriate for being called a perfect gaming console for the whole family. This was also a deciding factor to quote its price, as the company had to keep its prices low for the wii systems. This step made it possible for the families to buy it.
Nintendo is today enjoying huge revenue because of the wii systems. Despite of the illegal practices of downloading free pirated versions of the game, there has been no loss accounted in its sale records.
